To celebrate Sarasota Opera's past we present Mozart's delicious comedy of fidelity and infidelity which was performed by the company in our first season and has been the most performed opera in our history. Two soldiers test their fiancées' devotion abetted by their worldly friend and a mischievous maid. The last of the three operas Mozart wrote with librettist Lorenzo Da Ponte, the score sparkles with its creators' wit and sense of romance and comedy.
