Sarasota Opera celebrates the 150th anniversary of Puccini's birth with a new production of his charming La rondine. A Parisian courtesan sees her last chance to recapture love and youth, only to have her idyllic world shattered by reality. Last heard here in 1999, the romantic score contains one of Puccini's best-loved arias, 'Chi il bel sogno di Doretta.'
