Forbidden Music—Works Banned by the Nazis

In partnership with the Florida Holocaust Museum, St. Petersburg, Sarasota Opera presents Forbidden Music—two identical concerts, a lecture and a panel discussion, dedicated to works by composers banned by the Nazis.

The narrated concerts will explore the music of composers such as George Gershwin, Felix Mendelssohn, Erich Wolfgang Korngold, and Gustav Mahler through their songs and arias.
