Ms. Tetriani (fomerly Tetruashvili) made her Sarasota Opera debut in the 2008 production of La rondine.  A native of Tbilisi, Georgia, she made her professional operatic debut as Antonia in Les Contes d’Hoffmann with the Staatstheater Stuttgart. With Oper Der Stadt Köln her roles included Micaela (Carmen), Mimi (La bohème), Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Arminda (La finta giardiniera) and Nedda (Pagliacci).  She alternated performances of Mimì and Musetta in Stein Winge’s new production of La bohème and recently made her debut with Oper Frankfurt. 

Since moving to the United States, Ms. Tetriani has appeared as Susan B. Anthony in Thomson’s The Mother of Us All, Rose Maurrant in Weill’s Street Scene, Helena in Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro. Recent and upcoming engagements include the world premiere of Howard Shore's The Fly at Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, Kupova in The Snow Maiden for Wexford Festival Opera, Lora in Wagner's rarely performed opera, Die Feen, and the title role in Norma in Paris. 

On the concert stage she has performed at Alice Tully Hall in New York, the Chautauqua Music Festival, Caramoor Music Festival, Malmö Opera and concerts in Moscow and Tbilisi.
