Maria Natale, soprano
Soprano Maria Natale will make her Sarasota Opera debut this season singing the role of Liù in Puccini's great masterpiece Turandot. Ms. Natale made her debut with Knoxville opera in 2010 appearing in the roles of Kate Pinkerton in Puccini's Madama Butterfly and Pousette in Massenet's Manon. Additional roles have included Genoviffa in Suor Angelica, Mrs. Gobineau in The Medium, and Nancy in Albert Herring. In addition, Ms. Natale performed throughout Italy, specifically singing the role of the First Lady in The Magic Flute in Rome, as well as a concert soloist. Ms. Natale was born is Southern California and recieved her Bachelor of Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
