For the first time, patrons of Sarasota Opera now have the ability to choose their own seats when ordering tickets at the opera’s web site, www.sarasotaopera.org. There is no more guessing where the seat is or what the view will be. With a new interactive tool, ticket buyers can see the seat map for each performance, know exactly which seats are available, and click on the seats they want to purchase. To see what the view of the stage is from that section, simply click on the new photo preview.
This addition to the site is the first of a two-part upgrade, which eventually will include a patron center, where ticket holders can track all their activity with Sarasota Opera, update their contact information, and more.
These two important upgrades, funded by a grant from the Gulf Coast Community Foundation of Venice, will help Sarasota Opera provide better customer service to its patrons. To receive alerts when new features are active, subscribe to the company’s eNewsletter by enrolling at www.sarasotaopera.org.
