In order to accommodate patrons who want to see more than one opera this season, but are not quite ready to make the leap to a full subscription, Sarasota Opera is offering something new, the Trio.
This discounted three-opera ticket offer – good through October 25 – will allow opera lovers to purchase one ticket to any performance of this fall’s opera, Rossini’s La Cenerentola (Cinderella), and one ticket to each of two of the four operas performed during the 2011 Winter Festival (on specified dates, only) at a ten-percent discount.
The Winter Festival tickets available as part of this offer are:
• Puccini’s La bohème (February 19, March 11, 15, or 19)
• Mozart’s Don Giovanni (March 4 or 18)
• Verdi’s I Lombardi (March 12)
• Robert Ward’s The Crucible (March 8)
The three-opera Trio must be ordered in one transaction and is only available through the Box Office – in-person, mail, or phone – and expires October 25, 2010. All tickets are subject to availability and are in select sections. This offer does not apply to previous sales.
For more information or to purchase tickets, call (941) 366-8450, ext. 1 or visit the Box Office at 61 N Pineapple Avenue, Sarasota, in the building adjacent to the Opera House, under the green awning. Box Office hours are Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
