The Family Office Model: Managing Your Wealth and Charitable Giving

Monday, March 1, 2010
2:00 to 3:30 pm
William G. and Marie Selby Lobby, Sarasota Opera House

Presented by: Paul R. Gesko, President and Treasurer and Henry Z. Urban, Jr., Vice President

The Family Office Model is an investment and trust administration business approach whose purpose is to transfer family wealth across the generations.  Originally designed for the Mega-Rich, the Family Office Model operates like a business, integrating everything from investments (including venture capital, commodities and real estate development), tax and estate planning, trust administration and charitable gifting.  It then disburses payments as required to family members while providing tremendous personal services that go well beyond “the norm.”   In this uncertain economy and volatile market conditions at home together with unknown and dangerous world conditions, the Family Office Model offers some assurance that assets can be protected for your current and future family members.
