Health and Safety As we reopen the Sarasota Opera House, we understand and share your health and safety concerns. The following guidelines have been implemented to keep our audiences safe. Face masks covering the mouth and the nose will be required for audience members who are not fully vaccinated and recommended for all others. All seats will be reserved to accommodate distanced seating for performances at the Opera House, including our HD at The Opera House and Classic Movies at The Opera House series. To ensure social distancing in the theater, you must use your reserved seat and may not switch seats without the assistance of the house manager. Print your tickets at home or receive a ticket on your mobile device. Ticket scanning as you enter the theater will limit your contact with our ushers and staff. The main Box Office can be accessed by phone (941) 328-1300 and email only: Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm. Social distancing rules will be observed at the opera house with modifications to lines approaching the restrooms and elevators as well as the entrance to the theater. Sanitizing stations have been installed in the theater and we have optimized the air conditioning system to provide better airflow and filtration. We have installed bi-polar ionization technology to eliminate viruses and germs. Signage will be placed in key locations around the theater to guide you and help keep you, your fellow patrons, our artists and our staff safe.
