Contributors to the Youth Opera & Education Fund support the most comprehensive youth opera program in the country, providing a unique music education experience to youth aged 8 to 18, from the greater Sarasota area and beyond. They also support our education programming that brings public, private, and home-schooled students to the Opera House and takes the opera to them through in-school performances.

Youth Opera & Education Fund contributors also make it possible to bring educators to the Opera House to learn more about how they can integrate opera into their curriculum and deepen their understanding of the artform. Supporters receive special access to see these programs in action and the impact their philanthropy has on the youth who benefit.

Leadership support of our Youth Opera & Education programming (annual gift of $6,000+) helps to create a life-long love of opera in the youth of our community. Support at this level also underwrites the cost of producing a fully-staged opera written specifically for young voices to perform, an effort unique to Sarasota Opera. In addition, this level of investment makes it possible to expand our reach into the community to raise awareness about the excellent work we do.
