Health and Safety

The Sarasota Opera House understands and shares your health and safety concerns. At the present time, the following guidelines are in place at the Sarasota Opera House for all events, to keep our audiences safe.

1. Face masks covering the nose and mouth are recommended but not required while inside the Sarasota Opera House. We recommend wearing KN95, KF94, or N95 face masks.

2. Print your tickets at home or receive a ticket on your mobile device. Ticket scanning as you enter the theater will limit your contact with our ushers and staff.

3. The main Box Office can be accessed by phone (941) 328-1300 and email: [email protected] Monday-Friday, 10am - 5pm. The box office windows are currently open for walk-up purchases Monday-Friday 10am-5pm.

4. Sanitizing stations have been installed in the theater and we have optimized the air conditioning system to provide better airflow and filtration. We have installed bi-polar ionization technology to eliminate viruses and germs.

Signage will be placed in key locations around the theater to guide you and help keep you, your fellow patrons, our artists, and our staff safe. Protocols will be revisited and may be revised based on CDC guidance and the evolving circumstances of the pandemic, including use of additional screening protocols.
