Built in 1926, restored in the 1980s, and thoroughly renovated in 2007, the historic Sarasota Opera House is an icon in downtown Sarasota.
Sarasota Opera House is owned by and home to Sarasota Opera for its world-class seasonal opera productions, concerts, and Youth Opera programs and productions. It is also a venue for a broad range of community and non-profit organizations' performances, lectures, and fundraisers.
